Des Moines – With the 2019 Iowa State Fair well in swing, FFA members from all around the state have gathered to show off their prized entries. Members like Raegan Kime are primed to show her cattle and is proud that they will be displayed on what she says is the grandest stage.
Unlike Kime, Marissa Daniels, is showing her pigs for the very first time.
Lukas Bucknell, has hung up the fair-showing-hat to begin his journey as the North Central State Vice President, where he has the opportunity to hand out prizes. Bucknell loves this portion of the job.
Katie Bailey says her sheep are doing a tremendous job this year and she is doing better picking winning lambs.
Jayden Jorgenson, who is also showing animals, is much more excited about her tractor.
The Iowa State Fair will conclude on August 18.
