$925,000 in funding

Charles City – Business owners located on Main Street in Charles City can now apply for an assistance grant of up to $75,000 dollars for brick and mortar projects as apart of Main Street Iowa and Iowa Economic Development Authority’s (IEDA) 2019 Main Street Challenge Grant Program.

The businesses that submit will be judged on design, innovation, and the Iowa Green Streets Criteria. Overall, the projects mission is to refill main streets around Iowa with new attractions, while making sure not to forget the historical side of each city. The team’s focus is creating housing downtown.
