
Mason City, Iowa – Two Rockford students were recently apart of 12 others who each received a $500 scholarship from NIACC after attending an entrepreneurial academy.
Clara Dow and Cydney Shackleton participated in the college’s Youth Entrepreneurial Academy in early June where students developed, honed and created business skills. On the final day, students presented their business ideas including a description, financials and a business model.
The Youth Entrepreneurial Academy is held in conjunction with the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center and the John K. and Luise V. Hanson Foundation.
