Nora Springs bridge dedication scheduled for June 22

Nora Springs, Iowa – The northeast Iowa town of Nora Springs is hosting a dedication for a bridge connecting the city park and the Shell Rock River.

The Globe Gazette reports The Mill Pond Pedestrian Bridge will have a dedication ceremony Saturday, June 22 at the Shell Rock River City Park on north Hooker Avenue.  Officials will also unveil the Founding Donors Wall.

The bride connects Old Mill Pond City Park to the Shell Rock River City Park and was financed by 70 public and private donations, grants and other funding.
