Congratulations go out to Kelsea Ballerini and her team, who are sitting at the top of the Mediabase country singles chart with “Miss Me More.”

Morgan Wallen stepped from one to two with “Whiskey Glasses,” while birthday boy Lee Brice comes up from four to three with “Rumor.” Brett Eldredge also takes a step up, from five to four, with “Love Someone.” Kane Brown’s “Good As You” slides to number five, making room for his next single.

Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini are on board to host the CMA Fest TV special again this year. It’s the fourth time for Thomas, and the third for Kelsea.

Watch them when the special airs August 4th on ABC.

More information on the death of Granger Smith’s son has been revealed. Three-year-old River Kelly Smith drowned at the family’s home in Texas.

Granger announced the tragic news on social media on Thursday, writing, “Our family is devastated and heartbroken, but we take solace in knowing he is with his Heavenly Father.”

River’s organs have been donated for transplant.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
