Charity program provides dental care to needy kids

The Florida Dental Association has organized a big charity program that will provide dental care to needy kids.

Dentists and other medical professionals working with the “Give Kids A Smile” program are setting up shop and fixing dental problems free of charge.

The group hopes to serve 75 low-income or uninsured children at each site.

They’ll also provide free exams and cleanings — along with educational materials, toothbrushes and toothpaste — in hopes that these kids can avoid bigger dental problems in the future.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
