Little Big Town hosts the CMT Music Awards for the second year in a row.

Karen Fairchild says hosting last year gave them a new perspective on how award shows work.

Jimi Westbrook says they picked up a few new skills by hosting the show.

It will be a star-studded night full of special performances and unique collaborations, including Toby Keith and Cole Swindell singing one of Toby’s hits, as well as other pairings such as Maren Morris and Sheryl Crow; Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town and Trombone Shorty, Tanya Tucker and Brandi Carlile, and Brett Young and R&B legends Boyz II Men.

Other performers include Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Luke Combs, Zac Brown Band Carrie Underwood, Dan and Shay, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini and Luke Bryan.

The CMT Music Awards air tonight at 7 p.m. on CMT and

Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini return as hosts of CMA Fest: The Music Event of the Summer for the third time.

The three-hour special brings fans all the music, events and excitement of the festival. It airs on August 4th on ABC.

The lineup has just been announced for the iHeartRadio Music Festval, which will happen September 20th and 21st at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, June 14th at noon.

Monday night Blake Shelton helped raise $330,000 for Musicians on Call at a show at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Lauren Alaina, who picked up the Music Heals award, says, “It was such an amazing night and so much money was raised. Everyone in that room had a full heart including me. I was honored and overwhelmed to be a part of it.

Musicians on Call brings music to the bedsides of hospital patients.
