Country Music News for May 13th

Congratulations again to Chase Rice, who is spending his second week at the top of the chart with his first number-one single, “Eyes On You.”

In the number-two spot, Eli Young Band is holding tight with “Love Ain’t,” but Kane Brown’s “Good As You” is closing in at number-three.

Jon Pardi jumped up to number-four working the “Night Shift,” while Morgan Wallen keeps a hold of the number-five spot with “Whiskey Glasses.”

Two of the tallest guys in country music, Brett Young and Charles Kelley, have teamed up for an acoustic version of Brett’s most recent hit, “Here Tonight.”

Charles co-wrote the song with Brett.

Luke Bryan will continue his tradition of wrapping up his tour at Ford Field in Detroit.

He says, “I love a good family tradition and this has become one! Wrapping up my tour for the fourth time at Ford Field is seriously unbelievable. This crowd brings so much energy and a big party, and I can’t wait to get back there.”

The Sunset Repeat tour launches May 31st in Philadelphia and ends in Detroit on October 25th.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
