Wife saves husband’s life with CPR — twice

We’re always encouraged to take CPR classes because — as we’re told — you never know when you might need it.

Well, a wife in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, put her CPR skills to use twice and saved her husband’s life both times.

Back in March, Rich Peil came inside from plowing snow, sat down on the couch — and had a heart attack. His wife, Nicole, called 911 and starting performing CPR, keeping Rich alive until first responders showed up and brought him to the hospital.

Less then two weeks later, it happened again. Rich had another heart attack, and once again Nicole performed CPR until the first responders arrived.

Thanks to Nicole’s fast action, Rich is expected to make a full recovery, which is especially important, considering they have six kids that he’ll be around for as they grow up.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
