FFA taps renowned speaker to help spark inspiration during FFA week

New Hampton, Iowa – One fourth of the FFA motto is living to serve.

Amberley Snyder is paying it forward to youth all across America.

The New Hampton FFA Chapter is hosting Snyder, an inspirational speaker, as part of their FFA week activities  on the 27th.

FFA member Cassidy Pfaffle says she’s hoping Snyder’s story can show student’s their talents can be used in various ways, despite any setbacks.

Snyder is a paraplegic who lost her ability to walk after a car accident in 2010.  Doctors told her she’d never be able to walk.  As a horse rider enthusiast, her dreams were gone, but in four months she was back on her horse.

Pfaffle says the chapter took input from all their members before bringing Snyder to Northeast Iowa.

Pfaffle added she hopes Snyder’s message can provide some inspiration to her classmates because serving others is part of their motto.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
