Cyclones snap road losing skid, area sports lineup

Iowa State opened Big-12 play with a victory on the road.

 

John Walters with the call on the Cyclone Network as ISU snapped a 12 game road losing skid with a 69-63 win at Oklahoma State. Wigginton finished with 17 points in just his second game back from injury.

 

After failing to win a road game last season the Cyclones were able to make the plays down the stretch.

 

Marial Shayok also had 17 points as ISU improved to 11-2 on the season after trailing by one at halftime.
