
Charles City, Iowa – The Floyd County Board of Supervisors met this morning and for one of them it’s their last meeting.
Mark Kuhn is leaving his post after a combined run of 13 years after two different stints. He missed his last meeting taking a vacation in California.
Supervisor Linda Tjaden says his experience in the state legislature helped improved the board’s decision making.
Tjaden says they disagreed alot but it made for a healthy board.

The board approved the transfer of Vickie Zobel to the planning and zoning commission and reappointed Dave Boehmer to the board of adjustments.
Tjaden said a location is being finalized for the judicial system to operate out of once construction on the new law enforcement center begins.
The trustees of Joint Drainage District #6/#56 approved a four thousand dollar bill from Cole excavating to continue work.
The board is beginning budgetary work for the next fiscal year.
