Osage Student Charged With Terrorism, Unrelated To October Incident

Osage, Iowa – Authorities have charged an Osage student with terrorism.

According to the Osage Police Department, a juvenile made a threat Wednesday, December 12 on social media involving violence with a firearm.

Police tell KCHA News the student is in high school and will likely be suspended.  A detention hearing date will be held later while the suspect will continue to be held in juvenile detention.

The case is under investigation.

This incident follows an October threat where two eighth graders were charged with terrorism.
