Chickasaw County Medical Examiners Resign

New Hampton, Iowa – Chickasaw County has lost its chief medical examiner and the investigator.

Last Monday, the board of supervisors accepted letters of resignation of both positions effective immediately.

Lucas Brinkman is the chief medical examiner and told the New Hampton Tribune he finds the political climate in the county has made this job untenable.

Jeremy McGrath is the medical examiner investigator and he says he resigned because he can’t take the ‘harassment involved with the position.’  He cited industries outside the county government for the ‘harassment’.

The board of supervisors will reach out to Mercy Medical Center New Hampton for alternative replacements.

He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
