Sheriff’s Office And Surrounding Communities Approve Of Law Enforcement Partnership

Charles City, Iowa – Earlier this week, the Floyd County Supervisors approved rates for the next three years for the 28-E law enforcement agreement with communities in Floyd County and city of Nora Springs.  The agreement allows the Floyd County Sheriff’s department to patrol these communities.

That’s Chairwoman Linda Tjaden.

The board set the rates for all Floyd County Communities at a four dollar per capita rate.  Nora Springs is charged 25 dollars an hour for the assistance.

Floyd County Sheriff Jeff Crooks says this is an important piece to the safety of all citizens in Floyd County.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
