Iowa DNR Fines Out-Of-State Hunters Thousands Of Dollars For Illegal Hunting

Taylor County, Iowa Last week the Iowa DNR Conservation Officers uncovered out-of-state illegal hunters who’ve plead guilty to multiple hunting violations.  

Three individuals from Louisiana and one from North Carolina were hunting in Taylor County when a random check uncovered numerous violations including falsifying residency and hunting with Missouri deer licenses in Iowa.  The four did four bucks, but they were untagged and donated to the DNR HUSH Program.

The total fines and damages exceeded 23, 600 dollars.
