Nashua Women Claims Powerball Prize

Nashua, Iowa – A Nashua woman has won a $50,000 Powerball prize.

Tamera Sudol matched four white balls and the Powerball in the Oct. 20 drawing. She was one number away from winning that evening’s $470 million jackpot.

Sudol purchased her winning ticket at Kwik Star in Nashua. She claimed her prize Oct. 26 at the lottery’s regional office in Mason City.

Sudol’s ticket was one of two in Iowa that won $50,000 in that night’s drawing.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
