Hospital Announces Partnership For Better Hospital Care

Charles City, Iowa – Earlier this week, the Floyd County Medical Center announced a new partnership with  the Upper Iowa Anesthesia Services to bring in two nurse anesthetists.

Robine Howe of Floyd and April Cook of Nashua are the two participating nurses.

The nurses will work on a two-week on, two-week off rotation of regular surgical hours and on call 24/7 for emergencies and obstetrics.

Previously, the hospital had one nurse who brought in outside certified registered nurse anesthetists

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
