Turkey Valley Aims For District Crown, Area Teams Finish Their Seasons

New Hampton versus Hampton-Dumont

The New Hampton Chickasaws wrap their 2018 campaign hosting Hampton-Dumont.  The 2-5 Chickasaws will honor their seniors as they aim for their third win of the district.  Hampton-Dumont is 3-4. The pregame show starts at 7 with Chickasaw Kickoff at 7:30. Turkey Valley versus Central Elkader

Turkey Valley looks to snag their spot in the 2018 campaign.  The Trojans are 7-1 and host Central Elkader who is 1-7. Turkey Valley is coming off of a 60-34 dispatching of West Central last week.  A win would tie Turkey Valley for the district championship and a spot in this year’s eight-man playoffs.

Sumner-Fredricksburg vs North Butler

North Butler clashes with Sumner-Fredricksburg tonight.  The Bearcats are 1-7 and losers of six straight, while Sumner-Fred is 5-2, coming off of a loss to Aplington-Parkersburg.  The Cougars are on the outside looking in for a playoff berth.

Nashua-Plainfield at Postville

After last week’s forfeit win, the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies travel to Postville to search for their first competitive win.  Postville is 1-7 with the same forfeit win as the Huskies.

South Winneshiek vers Mason City Newman

The 4-4 South Winneshiek Warriors hope to rebound after back-to-back one-point losses in as many weeks.  The Warriors face 4-2 Mason City Newman. Newman is coming off of a 41-26 win over Saint Ansgar last week.

North Fayette Valley at #8 Waukon

North Fayette Valley finishes their season at eighth-ranked Waukon tonight.  The Tiger-Hawks are looking for their fourth win of the season after last weeks 35-34 loss against Waterloo Columbus Catholic.  The Waukon Indians are 7-1 and winners of seven straight after a 20-24 loss to Decorah in the opening weekend.
