#9 Sumner-Fred Looks To Remain Unbeaten, Chickasaws Aim For Second Straight Win

New Hampton vs Iowa Falls-Alden

The New Hampton Chickasaws look to make it two-straight tonight.  The Chickasaws host Iowa Falls Alden. New Hampton is coming off of a 35-0 blanking of winless Forrest City last week.  The Cadets are 1-4 and have lost three straight.

Nashua-Plainfield at South Winneshiek

The 0-5 Nashua-Plainfield Huskies have not scored a single point all season.  Tonight they’ll try to fire up their offense against the South Winneshiek Warriors.  South Winn is 3-2 and coming off a 15-12 loss to Wapsie Valley.

Osage at #9 Sumner-Fredricksburg

It’s a battle between Class 1A’s best defense and best offense.  It’s undefeated Sumner-Fredricksburg versus 3-2 Osage. Here is Cougar coach Brad Mohs:


Osage is coming off a 32-20 win over Denver last week and Sumner-Fred used two defensive scores to down Lake Mills 32-7.  This game can be heard on our sister station 98-7 kiss-country.

Turkey Valley at Kee High

The Turkey Valley Trojans are coming off their first loss of the season last week 56-42 to Central City.  Tonight, the Trojans travel to Kee High tonight. Kee High snapped an 0-4 streak last week with a 36-6 win over West Central.

North Fayette Valley vs Monticello

The North Fayette Valley Tiger-Hawks look for their third win in as many tries traveling to Monticello tonight.  Monticello is 2-3 and is coming off of a 40-12 loss to Waukon from last week.


Nashua Plainfield feel in four sets last night to Saint Ansgar.  Liberty Fisher led the Huskies with 13 of the 27 kills. The Huskies are off until Tuesday when they look for their fourth win of the year.

Turkey Valley fell in straight sets to Clayton Ridge last night.  They’re off until next Thursday when they travel to MFL-Mar-Mac.

New Hampton is 20-0 and takes their perfect record to Charles city tomorrow for a tournament.

Sumner-Fred and North Fayette Valley are in the Columbus Catholic tournament.
