The Score Sheet: Chickasaws Remain Unbeaten, N-P Still Searching For First Win

The New Hampton Chickasaws are sporting a gleaming 4-0 mark this season.

The Chickasaws are fresh off a 2-0 performance in the Turkey Valley Triangular, beating both Turkey Valley and Kee High in straight sets.

Rachel Rinken combined for 24 kills in both matches. New Hampton collected 17 aces in the match against Kee High.

The Chickasaws are preparing for their home-tournament this Saturday.  South Winneshiek, Denver, Waterloo East, and Sumner-Fredericksburg are in the tournament.

The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies are still searching for their first win of the season after dropping to 0-3 after a five set thriller last night.

The Huskies look for their first win of the season tomorrow hosting Mason City Newman.

South Winneshiek fell to the Crestwood Cadets last night in straight sets.  South Winn is preparing to head to New Hampton Saturday for a tournament against Denver, Waterloo East, and Sumner-Fred.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
