951 The Bull Sports Report (7/6)

The New Hampton Chickasaw baseball team was in Lake Mills last night for a non-conference game.  The Chickasaws were dominant in route to a 13-0 win.  Noah Fye had three hits including a home run, three runs scored and three RBI to lead the New Hampton offense and Aden Zwanziger had three hits and two runs driven in.  Zwanziger picked up the win on the mound as he went six innings, gave up one hit and struck out eight.  The Chickasaw baseball team improves to 25-5 overall this season and they will wrap-up their regular season tonight at Kee High.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky baseball team hosted Clarksville last night for a non-conference game against the Indians.  The Huskies used a five run fifth inning to help catapult them to a 10-3 victory in their final game of the regular season.  The Nashua baseball team finishes up their 2018 regular season with an overall record of 12-14 and they will play in the Class 1A District 5 Quarter-Finals on Tuesday night against BCLUW in Reinbeck.

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union continues their Regional softball tournaments tonight with Semi-Final match-ups in Classes 1A, 2A and 3A.  The New Hampton Chickasaw softball team will be in Cresco tonight for their Class 3A Region 5 Semi-Final against the Crestwood Cadets.  The Chickasaws are 23-14 overall this season and the Cadets are 23-9.  Crestwood won the conference regular season series against New Hampton 2-1 as the two teams split a double-header on May 31st and the Cadets won the single game on June 18th.  You can tune into this game right here on 951 The Bull tonight starting with a pre-game at 6:45 and first pitch will be at 7pm.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky softball team who will be in Manly for a Class 2A Region 5 Semi-Final against Central Springs.  The Husky softball team is 10-16 overall this season while the Panthers are 25-3.  First pitch will be at 7pm.
