New Hampton motorcyclist injured in collision with van

Waverly, Iowa – A New Hampton resident was injured on Wednesday after their motorcycle collided with an oncoming van.

The Iowa State Patrol says 37-year-old Kristin Driscoll was operating a 2003 Harley motorcycle when she crossed the center line and collided with a 2002 Dodge Caravan driven by 30-year-old Chassidy Schweer of Waverly.

The accident occurred 4:47pm at the intersection of 190th Street and Joplin Ave, northeast of Waverly.

Driscoll was transported to Allen Hospital in Waterloo, with no condition report available at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.

Assisting agencies included the Iowa State Patrol, Bremer County Sheriff’s Office, and Tripoli Fire and EMS.
