In a couple of games heard right here on 951 The Bull last night, the New Hampton Chickasaw softball team was in Decorah for a Northeast Iowa Conference double-header.  The Chickasaws were able to complete the sweep as they defeated the Vikings in game one 3-1 and then were 9-4 winners in game two.  The Chickasaw softball team begins their season with a record of 2-0 both overall and in NEIC play.  They will be back in action tonight when they host the Mason City Mohawks.

The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougar baseball team was in Oelwein last night for a non-conference game against the Huskies.  This was a make-up game from Monday night.  The Cougars were able to get their first win of the season as they beat Oelwein 11-6.  The Sumner-Fred baseball team is now 1-2 on the season and they will have their next game on Tuesday night when they will take on Hudson on the road in a North Iowa Cedar League double-header.

The New Hampton Chickasaw baseball team will open up Northeast Iowa Conference play tonight with a home double-header against Decorah.  The Chickasaws are 2-0 overall this season while the Vikings are 2-1.  You can tune into both games of the double header here on 951 The Bull.  The broadcast will start with a pre-game at 4:45 and first pitch of the first game will be at 5pm.
