Man pleads not guilty in rural Mitchell County burglary

Osage, Iowa – An Osage man has pleaded not guilty in a burglary at a rural Mitchell County residence.

37-year-old Dustin William Hall was arrested on April 19th after authorities were called to a home in the 3000 block of Hickory Avenue.

A deputy with the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office saw Hall on the roof of the home with a window opened on the second floor with a window screen laying on the ground.

Cash and gift cards were found in his picket and authorities say he was covered in mud and gravel, with footprints found throughout the home.

Hall was charged with 3rd degree burglary.
