Jane was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith. She graduated from Grafton High school in 1943. She attended Wartburg College in Waverly and was privileged to sing in the Wartburg Choir. During her lifetime, she worked in Mason City, Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah, San Francisco, Chicago, and Minneapolis. In 1987 she retired from Touche Ross & Company in Minneapolis and returned to Grafton to live with her mother after the death of her father. Jane loved to sing in church choir wherever she lived. At Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, she experienced many highlights, one being the choir traveling to sing in Manger Square in Bethlehem, Israel.
She enjoyed traveling, walking, most sports as a participant or spectator, hiking hut to hut in Norway, Elderhostel in Arizona studying the American Indians, skiing in northern Minnesota, studying about wolves, and learning how to be a sled dog musher.
Jane is survived by extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
