Dorothy Anne Beyer, age 84, of Mitchell, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at her home, of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell. Immediately following the burial, there will be a luncheon and time for fellowship at the Columbus Club of Osage, 1403 State Street, Osage.

Dorothy was born in Osage, on August 17, 1933, the daughter of Archie and Wanda (Knight) Thompson.

She attended school in Osage and graduated from Osage High School; she then continued her education and received her certification as a Dietary Manager. Dorothy married Leonard “Bud” Mostek on February 2, 1952, in St. Ansgar. Bud died October 2, 1998. Dorothy married Donald Beyer o July 21, 2002, in Mitchell. Donald died on July 1, 2011. Dorothy loved her family and had a passion for giving, especially the beautiful quilts she crocheted. Everyone loved her homemade breads and she was a wiz in the kitchen. Dorothy’s zest for living included her pet companion, “Tessy Girl” and her love for the quaint town of Mitchell.

Dorothy is survived by her four children, Wendy (Siggy) Schulz, Jon (Diane Scudder) Mostek, Joel Mostek and Jason (Lani) Mostek; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; siblings, Janis Leegaard, David (Cecelia) Thompson and Randy Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; siblings, Loma Jean Thompson, Marshall Lee Thompson, Gary Ray Thompson and Richard Allen Thompson.
