Charles City Woman Receives Fine for Stolen Items

Mitchell County, IA – A Charles City woman was arrested on Sept. 7 of last year. She had reportedly stolen tools from a couple of different counties.

28-year-old Danielle Jo Calhoun was taken into custody in Pioneer Park. She was found with stolen power and hand tools while driving a four-wheeler. The Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office had made the arrest.

Calhoun was facing a fourth-degree theft charge and had pled guilty to this. She must pay a $315 fine. The items were taken from Cerro Gordo and Floyd counties.
