Iowa Stands Alone at Number One

Iowa – Residents of Iowa got reassured on Tuesday morning that they are living in the greatest state of the 50 in the United State of America.

A study done by U.S. News and World Report says that Iowa finished number one in the rankings. Several other Midwestern states finished in the top 10 as well.

The study was based off of eight criteria. Iowa finished 5th in education, 3rd in health care, 1st in infrastructure, 17th in economy, 4th in opportunity, 15th in crime and corrections, 21st in fiscal stability and 9th in quality of life.

Two states surrounding Iowa also finished inside of the top 10: 2nd Minnesota and 7th Nebraska.
