Jasper County, IA – A Charles City man was set to stand trial in October after he had allegedly killed a man in Jasper County. That date was cancelled, but he has since received a new one.

52-year-old Randy Linderman is being accused of murdering 61-year-old Jose Ramirez Berber last year. Berber’s body was found in his home in Jasper County with Linderman’s DNA on his body.

Linderman has pled not guilty to his first-degree murder charge.

Linderman acknowledges that he has been in Berber’s home before. The new trial date for this case is set for March 7 in Jasper County.
