Mason City, IA – A routine traffic stop led to a Mason City man receiving a felony drug charge.
36-year-old Michael Olson was stopped for driving with his headlights off. He was taken into custody after an officer found a glass pipe and a bag that had a container with needles and what is believed to be methamphetamine inside of it.
Olson is now facing a felony possession of a controlled substance charge. He has already been convicted of this charge four times.
The arrest happened in the 1200 block of North Federal Ave. Olson is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
