The New Hampton Turkey Valley wrestling team will host a Class 2A Regional Dual Tournament tonight.  The top-ranked Chickasaws enter tonight with an overall dual meet record of 29-3 and their first match will be against Charles City who went 6-17 in dual meets this season.  If New Hampton Turkey Valley wins the first match, they will take on the winner of Clear Lake and Iowa Falls-Alden for the chance to advance to the State Duals.  You can tune into the Regional Duals tonight right here on 951 The Bull beginning with a pre-meet at about 5:45 and the first match will begin at 6pm.

The New Hampton Chickasaw girls basketball team had their Northeast Iowa Conference game against Crestwood postponed last night.  The Chickasaw girls will make-up that game tonight as part of a girl-boy double-header in Cresco.  The New Hampton girls are 11-9 overall this season and their NEIC record is 5-6 while the Cadet girls are 19-0 and 10-0.  The Chickasaw boys enter tonight’s game with a 9-9 overall record and they are 3-7 in the NEIC while the Crestwood boys are 7-11 and 2-7.  The girls game will tip-off first at about 6:15 and the boys game will follow.

The Nashua-Plainfield girls basketball team will be on the road tonight for a non-conference match-up against North Iowa Buffalo Center.  The Nashua girls are 2-18 overall this season while the Bison are 4-16.  Tip-off for the Varsity game is scheduled for 6:15.

The Nashua-Plainfield boys basketball team will take on West Hancock tonight on the road in non-conference action.  The Husky boys come in at 9-10 overall while West Hancock’s boys are 10-10.  Tip-off for this one is scheduled for 7:30.

The Turkey Valley Trojan boys basketball team will be at home tonight to wrap-up their regular season.  They will host Wapsie Valley in non-conference action.  The Trojan boys are 16-4 overall this season while the Wapsie boys come in at 14-6.  Tip-off for this game is scheduled for about 7:30.

The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougar boys basketball team will be in North Iowa Cedar League action tonight as they get set to take on Dike-New Hartford on the road.  The Cougar boys are 3-17 overall this season and they have a 1-16 record in the NICL while the Wolverine boys come in at 13-6 and 12-4.  Start time for this game is scheduled for 7:30.
