Burglary in Process Leads to Arrest

West Union, IA – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary that was happening at the time of the call. Two people were arrested following the deputy’s arrival.

34-year-old Brian Fullhart of West Union was burglarizing the Echo Valley Event Center which is east of West Union. He had broken into the event center and stole some items from the building. He was attempting to flee in a vehicle when deputies arrived.

Brian Fullhart and 34-year-old Zoanne Fullhart both received charges. Brian Fullhart was charged with second-degree burglary and interference with official acts. Zoanne Fullhart was charged with Interference with official acts.

Both of the people involved were taken to the Fayette County Jail.
