Couple Car Accidents in Charles City

Charles City, IA – Two car accidents took place in Charles City on Saturday. Both of the crashes took place later in the day.

The first accident happened at 900 South Main St. 29-year-old Qassim Olukayode Ajigbewu backed her Dodge Grand Caravan into a Ford Freestar. This wreck took place around 7:15 p.m., and the total amount of damage was $700.

The other incident happened in the 1100 block of North Grand Ave. and was a hit-and-run. A Ford Truck was legally parked when it was struck by a car backing up. The subject that was responsible is unknown. The estimated damage is around $500. The car that struck the parked car was a Chevy K2500.
