Rockford Woman Receives Meth Charges

Mason City, IA – A woman who was found impaired in a Days Inn hotel in Mason City has received a list of charges after her arrest on Nov. 5.

29-year-old Kristin Adams of Rockford was arrested after she was slurring her speech and was swaying back and forth in front of the authorities. She had admitted that she used methamphetamine the night before. Officers also found eight grams of meth, a glass pipe, six needles, baggies and a bottle of Black Velvet on her.

Adams has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication – first offense.

She is being held in Cerro Gordo County Jail on a $25,000 bond. Her hearing was held on Thursday.
