Charles City, IA – A class at Charles City High School is sending students out into the community to shadow people in the career paths that the students are interested in.
Matt Thompson and Trae Lohse are students in Sociology 2 at CCHS, and for the last week and a half, they have been shadowing workers at KCHA. The two of them say more about the class.
Putting students out into the field helps get real world, hands on experience that students can’t get in a classroom. Both of these students have an interest in editing audio and video and that is why they chose to shadow at KCHA.
Students will be shadowing workers for the next two weeks in Charles City. The class sends students out four days a week.
