Stolen Purses and a Car Accident in Charles City on Thursday

Charles City, IA – A theft report and car accident took place in Charles City on Thursday.

A car accident happened in the 1400 block of South Grand Ave. on Thursday morning. 73-year-old Nadonne Buseman on Charles City was driving his Buick when he backed into another vehicle. The car struck was a Chrysler Town and Country that is owned by Michael Sjoberg. The estimated cost of damage is $1,200.

The second incident that happened on Thursday was a theft report in the 900 block of North Main St. Two purses were stolen out of an unlocked car. The total value of the purses was around $50. A debit card was also taken and the thief spent $500 at a business in Waterloo.
