The South Winneshiek Warrior volleyball team finished up their regular season last night with an Upper Iowa Conference match at Kee High.  The Warriors were able to complete their Upper Iowa Conference season undefeated as they beat the Kee-Hawks last night three games to none by scores of 26-24, 25-22 and 25-20.  South Winn volleyball finishes the season at 16-13 overall and 8-0 in the conference.  The Warriors will compete in a tournament tomorrow at North Fayette Valley.

Just two weeks remain in the Iowa High School football regular season, here is where our area teams will be tonight.  The New Hampton Chickasaw football team will be at home for the final time tonight as they get set to host Garner-Hayfield-Ventura in a Class 2A District 2 match-up.  The Chickasaws are 5-2 overall this season and need a win to keep their playoff chances alive as they are 4-1 in District play.  The Cardinals come in at 4-3 overall and they are 3-2 in District play.  You can tune into this game right here on KCHA starting with a pre-game at about 7pm and kickoff is scheduled for 7:30.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky football team will be in Mason City tonight for a Class A District 3 game against the Newman Knights.  The Huskies will look to keep their playoff hopes intact as they come in with an overall record of 5-2 and they are 4-1 in District play.  Mason City Newman comes in at 4-3 overall and they are 2-3 in the District.  Kickoff for this game is scheduled for 7pm.

The Turkey Valley Trojan football team will be in an 8-man District 2 game tonight at home against Clarksville.  The Trojans are 4-3 overall this season and they come in with a District record of 1-3 while the Indians are 2-5 and 1-3.  Kickoff for this game will be at 7pm.

The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougar football team will be on the road tonight for a Class 1A District 2 game against MFL-Mar-Mac.  The Cougars come in with an overall record of 2-5 and they have a District record of 2-3 while MFL sits at 1-6 overall and are winless in District play at 0-5.  This game will also kickoff tonight at 7pm.

The South Winneshiek Warrior football team will host Lake Mills tonight in a Class 1A District 2 game.  After losing their first three games of the season, the Warriors have won four games in a row and have put themselves in a good position with a 4-1 District record and sit in a tie for second in the standings.  They will be taking on a Lake Mills team tonight who is 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the District.  Kickoff from Calmer tonight will be at 7pm as well.
