Woman is Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash Near West Union

West Union, Iowa – A motorcycle accident that happened on Friday near West Union has hospitalized a Mount Pleasant woman.

55-year-old, Victoria Ramaker, was driving north on highway 150 when the car ahead of her slowed down to let another car turn left. Ramaker attempted to slow down but she lost control of her motorcycle.

She sustained head injuries but there has been no other word on what condition she is in.

Ramaker is currently at the Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital and the accident remains under investigation.
