The Bull Sports Report (6/9)

Turkey Valley baseball hosted Postville last night and these games would go well for the Trojans. The first game would only last four innings as Postville pitching struggled to get outs. After three innings of play, the Trojans led, 15 to nothing. Wyatt Blazek ripped a home run in this game and drove in six base runners. Cale Reicks would get the nod on the mound and he would pitch four scoreless frames while only allowing three hits. Game two would go the same as Turkey Valley would score one run in the first, seven in the third, and five in the fourth. The Trojans would win game two, 13 to nothing. Cody Hackman had a good game at the plate as he had three hits, one run scored, and four RBIs. Evan Busta would hit the lone home run of the game and pitch five scoreless innings. Turkey Valley is currently on a four game winning streak and will host Clayton Ridge on Monday.

South Winneshiek hosted Kee, Lansing on Thursday night for a doubleheader in baseball. The Warriors would hold a lead in this game through four innings of play. Kee would tie the game in the fifth and take the lead in the sixth by scoring five runs. Each team would score a run in the seventh, but it was too late for the Warriors as they drop game one, nine to four. Game two was more of the same for South Winneshiek as they only scratched two runs across the plate while Kee would score four in the third alone. Kee would score three more runs the rest of the game and take the win, seven to two. The Warriors five game winning streak comes to an end as their record now stands at eight and six. South Winneshiek will travel to Riceville this weekend for a doubleheader.
