The New Hampton baseball team was back in action last night as they would play host to Crestwood. The Chickasaws would score a few runs in all but two of the innings, capped off by a three run sixth to secure a win in game one over Crestwood, 11 to three. Ryan Gorman would get the start on the mound for New Hampton and he would go all seven innings, only allowing three runs. In game two, Crestwood would jump out to a two to one lead and would build on that lead by tacking on another run in the top of the fifth. Going into the seventh, Crestwood was on top of the Chickasaws, three to one. New Hampton would find new life in their last at bat as they would bring home three runs to win in walk-off fashion, four to three. Carter Stochl would come away as the winning pitcher in the game. New Hampton’s win total climbs to 14 on the year with only one loss. The Chickasaws travel to Denver on Wednesday.

The Chickasaw’s softball team hosted Dunkerton on Tuesday night. New Hampton would have an even scoring game as they would score three in the first inning, two in the second, two in the third, and three in the fourth. The Chickasaws would add on one more run to their total as they would ten run rule Dunkerton, 12 to two. New Hampton has now won three out of their last four games. The Chickasaws will play host to Charles City on Wednesday night.

The South Winneshiek softball team traveled to Waukon last night. The Warriors would play well in this game as they would come out on top with an eight to four victory. After losing two games in a row over the weekend, the Warriors have rattled off four wins in their last four games. South Winneshiek currently sits with a record of ten and two and will host Central Elkader on Thursday.
