Floyd woman enters not guilty plea in crash that hurt child

Charles City, Iowa – A Floyd woman has pleaded not guilty to a crash that injured a child.

31-year-old Bobbi Quade was charged with child endangerment causing bodily injury, child endangerment causing serious injury and 2nd offence OWI after Charles City Police say she lost control while driving on Clarkview Drive on March 8th and crashed into a dumpster and another vehicle.

There were two girls inside the vehicle at the time, one of which suffered a cut on her head that needed medical attention.

Officers conducted a field sobriety test which allegedly showed Quade had a blood alcohol content of .12, which is over the legal limit of .08.

Quade is scheduled to stand trial on June 22nd at Floyd County District Court.
