Drug charges for CC man after traffic stop

Charles City, Iowa – 22-year-old Samuel Dight of Charles City was arrested on Tuesday after Charles City police performed a traffic stop.

Dight was charged for possession with intent to deliver marijuana, after police found 28.62 grams of marijuana along with $3,900 in cash.

Officers also found a glass pipe in a backpack, a scale, a grinder along with other items.

Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver is a Class D felony.
