DNR wants your input on hunting and trapping regulations

Calmar, Iowa – The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will hold a public meeting tonight to receive public input on hunting and trapping regulations for the fall hunting season.

The meeting, scheduled tonight over the ICN, will be held at various locations throughout Iowa.  The meeting in northeast Iowa will be held at the Northeast Iowa Community College Calmar Campus at the Dairy Education Center.

The Iowa DNR would like public input on what worked and didn’t work for the last hunting season and what changes hunters and trappers would like to see this fall.

The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. tonight at the Dairy Education Center in Calmar, part of the NICC Campus. It will be held in Room 114. The Dairy Center is located at 1527 Highway 150 South in Calmar.
