Stolen Firearms Recovered In Ridgeway After Search Warrants

Ridgeway, Iowa – A report from the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s office says several stolen firearms and other reported stolen property was recovered last week in Ridgeway. The items were recovered after an execution of two search warrants at a location in Ridgeway.

22-year-old Ronald Harrison of Ridgeway was charged with third degree felony burglary and aggravated misdemeanor possession of stolen property.

The warrants were executed as a part of a lengthy ongoing investigation.

Harrison was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, the Decorah Police Department, the Iowa State Patrol, the Winneshiek County Attorney’s Office and the Winneshiek County Ambulance.

The case is still under investigation.
