CC Middle Schoolers learn about veterans buried at Riverside Cemetery

Charles City, Iowa – Several middle school students visited the studio on Thursday to talk about a new project they are involved with. The project entitled “Tomb It May Concern” involves learning more about the lives of veterans who are buried at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Kaden Barry, Cael Ruzicka, Alec Staudt and Cade Williams talked with KCHA’s Tad Barry about the project.

Alec Staudt explains.

Cade Williams said they found quite a few veteran’s graves at Riverside Cemetery.

A podcast about the project is aired every Friday. Kaden Barry explains said the podcasts will be aired at least through February.

Cael Ruzicka said other classmates are involved in different aspects of the project.

Each of the students talked about what they have learned from the project.
