West Union Teen Hurt In Crash

Fayette, Iowa – A West Union teenager was injured in a Friday night crash near Fayette.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says the accident was reported about 10 p.m. on Highway 150 just south of 175th Street, about a mile north of Fayette.

A 16-year-old male, who name was not released, was driving a Black 2001 Chevrolet Malibu LS 4D southbound when he lost control and entered the east side ditch. He was transported to Palmer Hospital for his injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
