Charles City, Iowa – With one last political blitz before tomorrow’s election, early voters have one last chance to get to the county auditor’s offices rather than hit the polls on Tuesday

Floyd County auditor Gloria Carr talked about last early voting and turn out so far in Floyd County as a Friday afternoon.

The Chickasaw County auditor’s office reported that as of mid-afternoon on Friday, nearly 2,800 ballots had been filled out, either with absentee ballots or early voters.

Carr had this to say about what to expect in terms of returns for both local and national results on Tuesday.

Area courthouses will be open until 5:00 p.m. this afternoon.

Polls open statewide in Iowa at 7 a.m. tomorrow and will be open until 9 p.m.
