951 The Bull Sports Report (11/2)

The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougar volleyball team was in Center Point last night to take on West Branch in the Class 2A Region 7 Finals.  The Cougars were able to sweep their way to the State Tournament as they won three games to none by scores of 25-11, 25-21 and 25-15. Jadlin Seehase had 14 kills to lead the Cougars and Becca Pagel had 12.  Jenna Brandt had 29 assists, Brandt and Kiley Kime each had ten digs and Hilary Oberbroeckling was 16 of 17 serving with five aces.  The Sumner-Fred volleyball team improves to 33-5 this season and they will see a familiar foe in the first round of the State Tournament.  The Cougars will face fellow North Iowa Cedar League member Waterloo Columbus a week from today.
