951 The Bull Sports Report (10/11)

The New Hampton Chickasaw volleyball team will wrap up Northeast Iowa Conference play tonight on at home as they get set to welcome in Charles City.  The Chickasaws come in with an overall record of 24-6 and they are 3-2 in NEIC play.  The Comets are 28-5 overall this season with a conference record of 5-0 and with a win tonight, they would be crowned conference champions.  You can tune into this game right here on 951 The Bull tonight starting at about 7:30.

The New Hampton Chickasaw boys and girls cross country teams will be in Oelwein tonight to take part in the Northeast Iowa Conference meet.  The Chickasaws will run alongside Charles City, Crestwood, Decorah, Oelwein, Waukon and Waverly-Shell Rock.  The conference meet will get started at 4pm with the Middle School girls race.  The Middle School boys, JV girls and boys and Varsity girls and boys races will follow.

The Nashua-Plainfield volleyball team will be in Hampton tonight for a quadrangular meet along with the Bulldogs, North Butler and Lake Mills.  The Huskies are 3-17 overall this season.  The first matches will begin at 6pm.

The Turkey Valley Trojan volleyball team will be at Starmont tonight for an Upper Iowa Conference match.  The Trojans are 6-15 overall this season and they are 2-5 in conference matches while Starmont comes in at 23-7 and 6-1.  First serve is schedules for 7:30.

The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougar volleyball team will host Waterloo Columbus tonight in a North Iowa Cedar League contest.  The Cougars come in with an overall record of 29-5 and they are 6-2 in the NICL. Columbus is 24-10 overall and 6-1 in conference matches.  First serve for this match is scheduled for 7pm.

The North Fayette Valley Tiger-Hawk volleyball team will host South Winneshiek tonight in Upper Iowa Conference action.  North Fayette is 16-13 overall this season and 6-1 in the UIC while South Winn comes in at 12-19 and 5-2.  This match is scheduled to start at 7:30.
